Nigerian pilgrims observing mandatory 3-day quarantine period in Madinah – to begin Umrah rites Sunday
The 75 Nigerian Umrah pilgrims arrived yesterday in Madinah and immediately proceed on 3-day quarantine a part of Saudi Arabia precautionary measures to contain the spread of coronavirus.
According to to a source among them, the pilgrims are now (Thursday) observing the mandatory three days quarantine period, which will end on Saturday; from where they will be moved to their hotels at the end of the three day quarantined period.
Kaabanews gathered that they will begin their Umrah rites on Sunday with ziyyarah to holy sites on Sunday and thereafter moved to Makkah for the Umrah rites.
The pilgrims departed Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja yesterday for the holy land. It was gathered that a number of agents worked in collaboration to make the required group.
